I had a 2002 bug eye for quite some time, back when I first made this user name. I loved that car! I often think about getting another one cheap as a project car.

Got my sump lit up yesterday thanks for a 30 dollar LED kit from Lowe's. I also brought home two MP40's, 80 pounds of sand and have my heaters coming in tomorrow. I decided on dual 400w titanium heaters with controllers/probes by Aquatop for heat. I used a smaller version of that heater on my cube and loved it. All that's left if setting up a RO/mixing station in the garage!

This thread is back from the dead!
Sorry for the long delay, it was quite the busy summer! This week I spent a lot of time getting my RO/DI and mixing station set up in the garage. I went with a preowned 5 stage that I replaced all the cartridges and membrane on with all Spectrapure stuff and a 90 GPD membrane, all in all in getting 70-80 gallons a day at zero TDS. I also sourced two 70 gallon barrels, one for storage and one for mixing and plumbed together a mixing set up.
Excuse the mess in the garage... that's THIS weekend's project lol
I've got the first 90 gallons of water in the tank and I should have the tank filled hopefully tonight or tomorrow morning as I've got another 50 gallons mixing now, that might about do it for water, otherwise I'll just mix another 50 and top it off tomorrow.
Lastly, of course NOW that I finally have water in the tank, I see a couple things I want to do differently with the rock work. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to get wet.
