OH and notathumpa didnt mean that the kitchen could of been your problem just wanted to share MY BAD DAY story lol. Something just threw off the bacteria balance I think it could of been the coral frenze but than your tank builded up enough good bacteria that you never had the problem again.

Sorry its early in the morning and my mind keeps thinking of things right after I post. When you had this milky water was your protein skimmer going crazy too with taking stuff out of the water and making really wet foam?
