milli color question

OK, i got this milli from LFS. I am pretty sure i was told it is a yellow tipped milli. However, this is the best color i have been able to get out of it. I have purple tip, pink, yellow, green and maybe a new tourquise (brown when i got it) milli in the tank also.

question is, is this the right coloration or what should it be?
the polyp extentions are "white" and brown, not a result of flash.

Not to say that it's not. But chances are that a collector snipped it for harvesting because there was some wow or color factor, as he's in it to unload and make money, and will have a hard time selling brown corals to the wholesellers. Sometimes the colations are light, and the coral is more concerned with growing than coloring up. This was the case with a A. prostrata I own, for a good year it was just a creamy off white with pinkish brown polyps. After a year of encrusting it just shot up, and now has a beautifull light green base with light pink polyps and limony yellow and pink tips.

Sometimes you can even get an idea of a sticks potential coloration even while brown with a nice bright blue LED light. It can pick up those subtle flourescense and show you what some of it's true coloration can be. A must have tool for frag swaps ;)
