Mimic Filefish - Paraluteres prionurus - Anyone have one??

I'm looking for people who have a Mimic Filefish (Paraluteres prionurus). Would like to get more information on your experience with them.

Specifically, what is your setup?
What additional tank mates? (fish/corals/inverts)
How long have you had it?
What do you feed it & how often?
Any issues??

I've done a lot of searches here and have read through pretty much every thread I can find, but few (if any) really answer how "reef safe" and hardy the fish is. As with everything, there is conflicting info out there on how often to feed, but overall the fish seems like a decent candidate for my 60 cube mixed reef, but I still need more info.

I too have do a bit of searching for information on the Mimic Filefish and found only a little. I know this thread is years old but am keen to add my observations so that others may be helped.

My tank is a 400 litre mixed reef with sump. My parameters aren't quite where I want them but I am conscious of this and and working on correcting them to their optimum over the next few weeks. I had no reservations in adding a fish so that tells you they aren't too bad.

The tank has been running approx 8 months and the other inhabitants are as follows. Medium sized Mata Tang and Yellow Tang. An Aiptasia eating Filefish, two Clown Fish a Royal Gramma, Suntail Goby 2 x Azure Damsels and a 6 Line Wrasse.

Once acclimatised the Mimic Filefish was added and all my other fish showed little or no aggression or even noseiness towards it. It was probably the least stressful addition I have made. He swam around freely and looks to be enjoying his new home. He nipped on each of my corals in turn and has returned to my Sea Fan on several occasions. I fed the tank Mysis and that has stopped him nipping for now. I have decided that I will now feed morning and night instead of my usual once a day feed .
