Hi!!

I just sow a very nice mimic for sale a the local store,I love to keep that guy what do I need ? like what size tank skimmer?..

btw they want $250 is that a good price?

thanks

Was it a mimic or a wunderpus?

If you have no ceph experience yet, I would skip this animal. Even more so if you don't have a mature tank ready to go.

is not a mimic :( is a wunderpus I just sow it is not a mimic I have a 55g tank that is been cycle for a very long time and I have a pygmy octopus on a 40g tank,I never had any prob with the pygmy but this guy looks more delicate that is why i ask, is this octopus hard to take care? btw I feed my pygmy every other day is that ok to much or?

thanks alot for u help

jhemdal very nice article thanks a lot,now I just realize that my wunderpus has eggs don`t know what to do,is anything that I should do?

i would contact someone who owns a shrimp/pod production facility. I sent my Bimac (loides/latus if forget, it had small eggs) to a guy in Nevada. i think his name was Gorge but this was some time ago. he supplies Dr. Foster and Smith with saltwater feeder shrimp. he was willing to attempt raising baby octos. otherwise you'll go broke trying to feed the babies providing they actually hatch.

good luck!!

Well this was a depressing thread..

Especially since he was told by multiple people not to buy the octo in the first place.

If your going to ask for help and opinions and ignore the overwhelming responses, just dont bother asking for help in the first place...:thumbdown
