mimic octopus

After watching an interesting TV show my 8 year old decided to do a class report on a MIMIC OCTOPUS. We've been able to get plenty of resources on the internet but we also need a book as one of our resources. Does anyone know where I can find a book about the MIMIC OCTOPUS. Also, I remember as a child my brother had this little pickled octopus in a jar, it sounds gross but I thought something like that would be neat visual to bring in. Anyone got any info on octopus specimens.

There is a book that just came out a couple of months ago. It is called Cephalopods A World Guide. written by the cephalopod god Mark Norman. It is put out by conch books and is carried by http://www.seachallengers.com It is the bible for cephalopod identification! It sells for around $50.00 and worth every penny. It has a few pages on the mimic octopus as well as wonderpus. Over all the book has about 800 color ceph pics in it.
There is also a book called A Guide to Squid,Cuttlefish and Octopuses of Australasia that should have some info in it. That too is by Mark Norman. It came out before the world guide so a lot of the same info is coverd in the world guide. The discovery channel also has a episode of wild discovery on the mimic octopus. It is the best footage ever taken of this fine beast. It dosen't aire again though till may 25 at 7pm. Get your tape ready, its a keeper! I hope all this helps.
This is also a great link to the mimic if you have not seen it.

This is exactly what I'm looking for thank you so much. We just ordered our copy of cephalopods a world guide, it sounds fantastic. That episode of the mimic octopus is actually what awed and inspired my daughter to choose that animal for her report. Thanks for the info!!!
