Min size tank for bubble tip anemone's

Hi all. I've got a 100 litre tank with two common clowns about a year in the tank. Could I add a bubble tip? Dosing nopox & red sea reef energy a & b daily will this be an issue? Would the reef energy also feed anemone? Thanks

I have BTA's to give away. Nothing bigger than a 10 gal tank. Perfect for 2 clowns and a nem.
I have a 12 in haddoni carpet in a 20 gal tank with two clarkii clowns.
I add zip and test for nothing except salinity and temp. I do 2 x 25% water changes per week.
In a 10 gal that means making 5 gal per week of new water. Eazy peezy!

You absolutely can have a BTA in your tank! The key is good stable water parameters. I also wouldn't feed it very often as BTA's can get HUGE if fed too much and too often. Dosing what you are makes me ask the question of how long your tanks been setup and what are your parameters? Also what kind of lights do you have.

Actually Raythepilot you can do one 25% wc every two weeks and more than likely will be fine. I do a 20% WC every two weeks, I have a skimmer as well as a sump with lots of LR as well as LR in my DT. I have 3 BTA's as well as 9 fish along with several corals of all kinds. SPS, LPS and leathers.

The key is testing with your current animal load on the tank and see when it starts to fall off on your parameters, then do the WC. Sure you can do it more often but I wouldn't unless it was needed shown from test results, mainly high nitrates.

Can you so a WC more often? Sure, you can do as big of a WC as you want daily, but why waste money.

I have no skimmer, sump and I use a canister filter. I never test for anything except I am very careful with my make up water. It is within 35.0 +/- ppt and within +/- 0.2 deg. C of my tank water. Every few weeks I check my tank water and adjust it back to 35.0ppt.

I used to check all those parameters but when you do high volume water changes they never change and you are wasting your time.

they grow faster than u think -especially when healthy and happy. but i seen my friend very successful with 4 RBTA 3" in a 10 gallon.

Thanks all. My tank has only been running for around 3 months with live rocks, corals and livestock from previous smaller tank. Just thinking about it for the future. Would I need to cover outflows and power heads do you think?
