Mineral deposits, help!

I bought a used 75g tank and found that it has mineral deposits. Is there any way to effectively remove it? I heard it's pretty difficult. So suggetions are open!

100% full strength white vinegar.

Soak paper towels in the vinegar and paste to the side of the glass if it is side glass needing de-mineralized. Then just rinse, rinse, rinse. I use white vinegar to clean up my salt water vat if it gets really crusty. If just wanting to clean out the salt water vat, I use straight hydrogen peroxide and rinse out.
