i have these cleanish centipide type creatures crawling all around my tank. The only come out at night and dart back and forth so i am unable to take a picture. They are about 1/8 - 1 inch in size. I have no idea what they are, and if theya re harmful.
Currently i have nothing in the tank except my LR and 2 Blue Legged Hermit crabs.

Anyone know what they are?

I agree with jpitts. They're bristle worms and they're very good for the tank. A great part of your CUC.

you sure, because the dont look like worms to me. They seem to have a lot of legs, tenticles, and move like insects.

looks nothing like those

they are translucent white/greyish colour
they appear to look like army ants

Sounds like amphimpods and copepods. They help keep your tank clean and are a fantastic food source for other things in your tank. However, I would be concerned about them being 1 inch long; that sounds like a young mantis shrimp to me. I have never seen a pod more than 1 - 1.5 cm long. I can't find the link right now, but there is a website that has tons of pictures of small organisms that a common in tanks, it tells you if they are good/bad as well.
