Minimum Height for Tunze 9004 skimmer

Hi,

I would like to use purchase the Tunze 9004 skimmer to be used in a sump. What is the minimum water level required for it to work properly?

8.86-9.65 is the recommended level, I would leave a margin for adjustment and make it at least 9.25" deep.

Thanks for the quick reply. My sump has a constant water height of 8" so that's probably not going to work.

I would agree, I know it won't work below the minimum water level as all the water comes in through the front intake under the cup.
