Minimum Tank Size Per Haddoni?

Is there a general rule to minimum tank size and how big do they grow in captivity? I was thinking about placing 2 haddoni in a 40g with no rocks and 6inch sand bed. No other coral or anemone. Is 40g too small? I also thought about 55g but thought it would be wiser to place the haddonis in the 40g's wider frame. I read somewhere that haddoni only grow to 2ft.

Btw no fish in this system.

It's more about the dimensional layout.. than the tank size..

Unless the tank is tied into a larger system to help with the bioload and filtration, then I think even 1 large haddoni would be pushing it. Two decent sized specimens wouldn't even fit in the tank without likely overlapping.

You will probably want to do a lot of water changes. If they both get as large as they could in the wild, you won't have enough room. How long it would take to get that big is another question though.
