I got a new acro frag recently (very tiny, 1/2" or so) it had a minor spot of algea on two of the tips. One of the tips (the one right below the one with visable algea) has sinse had all of the algea die and seems to be recovering. The upper tip with the visible algea has not gotten worse but is not much better either, it does not appear to be spreading and it is literally 2-3 little strings of algea. I have blown up the picture as much as possible so that it would be visible. My question is, would you cut off the tip or wait it out and see if it grows over the apparently dead spot? This is a very small frag so I would prefer to not remove anything, but If people have found that areas like this rarely get grown over then I would rather start the healing process sooner than later
