Missing Dry Gasket?

Just opened the box to my new VorTech powerhead and was getting ready to place it in the tank when I noticed in the instructions that I need to put the rubber gasket, where you want it placed, on the outside of aquarium. Well, I can't seem to find one. Do I need one? Anyone else have/had this problem?

Check the motor with the pin spacer boot. Many times we have heard of missing gaskets but they were actually stuck to the pin spacer boot. It is from the shipping process. They are packed and shipped with the wet side and motor together. This can cause the thin rubber black gasket to adhere to the spacer boot. If you are indeed actually missing the gasket send a service request to ecotechmarineservice@gmail.com and we will take care of it right away.

Thanks for the quick update. I checked the spacer and didnt see it stuck inside. I went ahead and installed the system and it seems to be running great. Very low noise and stable. I'll go and send and email in case I need it in the future. Thanks again.

It would not have been inside the spacer it would be on the outside covering the blue sticker on the spacer.
