Missing Goby

So I bought a twin spot goby last weekend put him in my display drop line acclimated him. Been eating sand and running around tank. All of sudden since yesterday I cannot find him just vanish are they Hiders? Also I have 3 BTA and a Mini max could one of those got him I cannot find a body but not sure if my tank would show one up with my cleaning crew.

Water parameter is fine 0 to.025 on the phosphate on API test and 1.025 on salinity.

Check your overflows. Also check the floors around it. I dont think the bubble could eat it but I could be wrong

Check the floors. I had one in my tank for years, even made the transfer to the bigger tank. I never saw him anywhere near the top. Found him on the floor one afternoon. That's the second fish I lost that way.

Yeah they love to jump out. I had a screen on my old tank and it had a small hole in the back. Needless to say he found that small hole and that was all she wrote.

i lost a golly the other day and never found it. either he jumped and the dog at it, or he something in the tank devowerd him. i read a story where one was sucked up during water change.

i lost a diamond goby he was healthy and one day i found him in the back behind the rocks still looked alive and healthy but not moving and my brittle star thats bigger then my hand had his arms wrapped around him and a bristle worm crawling on him needless to say something stung him he looked paralyzed but it was to late to save him from the clean up crew....he was a really cool fish to watch ...i hope yours turns up ok
