Okay nobody on my local Hawaii reefing forum(or anybody I know of) has kept this coral blue.
here is a link to some pics of it.
(it is not a reef building coral,thus it's legal)
Every one who has tried gets good growth but it loses it's color and goes pink.

(not the slug the coral
)
In my dozen or so tries it seems to hold it's color for longer than 24 hours when lots of lighting and flow is applied,
since it is found growing in SPS reef, on SPS etc.
Under about .5-5 feet of water.
After about 3 days it fades to a blueish purple then to a light blue or pink,well in my attempts anyways.
I have 6 tubes of T5NO,the frag is 3 inches from under the surface,
right by the flow of an AC70 and a Koralia Nano.
Other people have tried MH(different reef setup),
the only thing that can be concluded(well my conclusion) is that it like it at the water's surface and it will grow but loses it's color.
Has anybody kept this coral bright blue for atleast a month?
What the heck could I and a few other people be doing wrong?
