my wife is now getting into the hobby more and more, but now shes realy liking anenomes so i thought i would just give her a 75 and let her go. will there be any problems with having different ones in the same tank? are there any i shouldnt mix? any pics of mixed anenome tanks?

If you stay within the same species you should be fine, i.e. different colors of the same species. But if you start mixing lets say carpets with BTA's you could have some chemical warfare. Some people say that using a UV sterilizer will help break down this chemical warfare and make it possible.

Good luck, I would stay with the same species, BTA would be best bet in that size tank. That's if your looking for a clown hosting anem.

I have a LTA and a carpet in my 200 gal with no problems. They are about 10" apart from eachother.

BTA and Sebae in the same 120 Gal tank here. Happy co-existing since December 3, 2005. I do run carbon 24x7 (just in case)

LTA, lots of BTA and a Ritteri in my 100G tank. Have been this way for 1+ year. I run carbon every now and then...

Sebae and LTA
Only problem is they're getting too big.
Hard to keep from touching corals.
For some reason I can post to my gallery, but not here.
Check gallery pics. they are about a month old.
I just measured my LTA today at 16'' from tentacle to tentacle

For the record, it is not recommended to keep sessile (corals) and motile (anemones) cnidarians in the same tank.

Also, anemones like to wonder around until they find a place they like. I would recommend you guys get a bubble tip first (they like to live on rock and are less challenging) and then consider something else based on how it does. Be patient
