I've been assembling pieces for months now and finally have enough to make my first saltwater reef tank. (My DT has been in the garage for the past several days as I have been painting the back black.)
Today I swapped out the outlet for a GFCI one, and started pulling everything out to install in the sump.
In lieu of a controller, I bought a delay timer -- so my skimmer and ATO could turn on 5 minutes after the return pump (in case of a power failure).
Well, I emptied the box with the delay timer and discovered that they sent me the wrong item! It was labeled delay timer. I had opened it and it looked like an outlet on a cord so I was content. Now that I empty it, I see it is a float valve and outlet for an ATO.
It's a mixed blessing because this is worth more than the delay timer -- but it is a nuisance to not have what I wanted/ordered.
