Have a 220. Have a flameback on his 3rd week in qt. have 2 more qts open. Was thinking about a fame and a coral beauty? Terrible idea?

Do you have any other fish in the 220? I would suspect you could add one, there should be enough room that they can avoid each other.

I think you would be ok, but theres always that chance because of the similar color of the 2.

What is the maturity level of the display tank? Any tangs?

Tank is at the two year mark. And yes one yellow. And just a melnarus wrasse. Been alone for about 20 months

Fish of the same species/ genera tend to do better in odd numbers, and 3 dwarf angels in a 220 would be alright imo that's around 70 gallons per angel.

I had a goldflake, flame and coral beauty in my 270 for 3 years. They got along okay, but aggression kept increasing and now I just have the coral beauty left. I don't know if the death of the other two was related, but I will be keeping 1 angel at a time going forward.
