I recently purchased a beautiful Acropora with Lavender tips. He is doing well and started feeding within the first 12 hours. I am concerned though as I have a green finger leather at the bottom of the tank a good 3 foot from the Acropora. It does the normal light slime every 10 days or so. I thought the distance would be fine, but this morning I found a couple of strings of slime hanging on Acky. It is obvious that I am going to have to move the finger leather to a softies only tank. I also have Montipora in this tank. The only other softie is Xenia which seems to be no problem at all. I was wondering if anyone could tell me other soft corals that would do well with SPS. How do most feel about mixing soft and hard corals?
