mixing flashers?

So, I am new at keeping flasher wrasses. I have a P.filamentosus. My tank is 75 gal (30x24x24). He is doing great.

Do I need to do anything special if I wanted to add a P. Mccoskeri? Is aggression between males of different species?

Finally, will different species males encourage flashing?

Thanks for the help.

Females will. Mine, flash when they are being fed. Sometimes they flash for reasons unknown to me and only to them.

At one time I had thirty small flashers and fairy wrasses in my 75. There was some aggression at times with the fairys but for the most part it was ok. Currently I have a 125 with three Rhombiods (3.5 inches) two Roseafascia (5 and 4 inches) Lineatus (5.5) Mystery (3) two blue flashers (2.5) Eightline flasher (2.5) Lineopunctatus Flasher (2.5) Flame Jordani (4.5). I also have a Powder Blue Tang, Achilles Tang, Copper Banded Butterfly, Flame Angel, Bimac Anthia, two Fathead Anthia, Mandarin goby, and a Blue Spot Jawfish. My wrasses will flash at me, flash when I feed, or flash just for no reason some times. I can say if you add a new one and there is aggression rearange your rock work of put a mirror up agaist the tank for a couple of days. Also if you can add more that one new fish at a time, and allways turn lights off after you add new fish. Make sure there is no holes in top of tank because they will jump out and all find the smallest holes. Good luck.

Thank you for the response. I have a net screen top that works well. I typically follow the approach you outline for adding new arrivals.
