I had a yellow watchman goby/pistol shrimp pair. One day i noticed the goby was missing, the pistol shrimp was venturing out from the rocks on its own which it had never done before. After about 3-4 weeks i decided that the shrimp needed another goby to keep it happy. I buy another yellow watchman goby, and what do you know, the next day goby #1 magically reappears after a month of hiding. The gobies dont stay together but are both living under the same large piece of live rock. The shrimp seems to stay with the larger goby. I did notice the larger goby chasing the (new) smaller one around the tank. Is there any chance of them eventually getting along?
