Mixing sand

Didnt know where else to put this thread, but can you mix CaribSea Original Grade Ocean Direct Live Reef Sand with CaribSea Special Grade Arag-Alive! Live Reef Sand? I already have a bag of the ocean direct and want to get a bag of the special grade to have a mix of grian sizes but also get the benefits of the ocean direct kind.

Its probably a dumb question lol, but im just curious if there will be any ill affects?

No problem as long as you expect the smaller grains to fall to the bottom and the larger grains to stay up top. They won't stay "mixed" if you have something sifting through them, assuming the size of grains are that much different. If they are pretty much the same grain size, then I can't see a problem at all.
