mixing seahorses with fish

But baby brine shrimp is NOT a food source for large species of seahorse. You are going to have to find some source of live shrimp if they won't take frozen mysis. Otherwise the seahorses will starve to death. Maybe it will be tough, but the seahorse's life is in your hands now so you're going to have to source foods for it.

Sorry dude, if you can't get a good live food source for these guys then you're basically SOL. The only thing I could recommend would be these things called Reef Bugs. See if your lfs has them because I used that to get my pod culture going. It's good for like 3000 gallons or something like that but I've used it all up due to bristleworms eating everything.

so okay will my seahorse do fine with a clownfish and a mandarin fish?

The mandarin is fine, except that both the mandarin and seahorse aren't being provided with frozen or live foods, so they both may starve due to outcompeting eachother for the small live foods in the tank.

The clownfish is iffy, and if you are having trouble getting your seahorse to feed, the clownfish will make it worse by stressing the seahorse and outcompeting it for the food.
