Anyone ever mix any subtropical nems with a tropical like a GBTA? Reason I ask is nothing has changed in my tank and all other animals grow like weeds....... GBTA looked great for acouple weeks,now for like two months its doesn't expand asbig and the tentacles are always curled up and very small shrivled like. 30gal L breeder -96watts T5 ATI bulbs. Warty anemone from the local waters here in NC has been in the tank for along time before the GBTA. They are nowhere near each other,and everything around the local nem doesn't seem to be getting stung by it?
So could the local nem be causes issues just with GBTA? These guys live on rocks in the shallows were low tide keeps them exposed,so maybe its trying to fight with the GBTA for space?
Strange though cause people mix tropical anemones together alot without problems. I also run a skimmer and carbon.
