Ok, I have the seio 620 and a 185 GPH return on the filter. So if I did a maxi jet 1200 mod, there is this video with this guy using the 3004 prop or something and he estimates it around 1600 GPH while the kit on mjmods.com estimates that kit around 2000 GPH (with that 3004 prop.). They have a medium flow mod that estimates around 1400-1500 GPH it says and a 1400 or something prop. Go with the manufacturer and go with the medium flow one? If that 3004 prop one did put out 2000 GPH I would have 60x the flow in my tank lol. The medium flow one on mjmods.com shows 1400-1500 GPH so that would bring my GPH to around 47-50x the flow. Get the medium flow one?

Nope go for the Large prop. A Dumas 3004 would work great. It does put out quite a bit of water but its at very low pressure and dispersed over a wide area.

I am woking with a guy in my club and I am helping him put 2 MJmods AND a Seio 620. Trust me the corals wont mind. Its not like the seio or th reg maxijet. The flow is very wide.

Where should I place it? Got the seio 620 on left back glass and the fluval return on the right of the back glass 185 GPH. Is it best to put it on a side glass and shoot sideways? If I did that, it would be the left side glass and the fluval pushes out that way to the front then the mj mod would interupt that flow pushing it sideways maybe making it pretty random. Then it wouldn't be over any corals but maybe the fish wouldn't like it?

Random is good. Take a look at some of the info on the board about flow. Random churning is what you want.
