anyone try the mj mod kit from mjmods.com?

looks pretty sweet, just wondering how well they actually work since i dont have the $$$ to drop on a tunze!

I have two of the mj1200 and one mj900 mods and they do a pretty good job. I think you will be happy with the amount of flow you will get out of them after modding. -Steve

I like my 1200 mod. The online instructions for the kit are very clear. I lost one peppermint shrimp to it, I heard it hit the fan and the fish got a treat. If I had any really small fish or shrimp I'd try a foam sleeve over the housing.

i have to 2nd h20sidhe. i had danh do mine as well for my 900 and it works great. restarts all the time. i've got it on a timer

i did a GB on them.. i have 5 running in my 300 they are good.. great flow but they can make alot of noise sometimes.. chattering when they go they wrong direction...

maxdout, so even on a timer they work well? u ever experience a lot of noise from them like gabriel does?

anyone know why tunze cannot be but on timer/wave makers?

Same reason, you'll burn out the motor and they don't always fire correctly.

I never got itchy about mjmods. Seemed like by the time you bought the mj and mod you could buy a factory wide-flow and you didn't run the chance the rod would fit incorrectly etc.

Not trying to be a jerk, but just how I saw it.
