MJ600 problem

I have a Maxi-Jet 600 that I use to top off my tank. It seems to have stopped working properly - the motor runs, but it barely pushes any water. The impeller [visually] looks ok. Is there anything else to try or do I need to buy a new MJ600?

my maxijet 1200 did the same, then one day i took it out to test in in a small tank to see what was wrong and i got shocked so I just tossed it and bought a new one.

Check te magnet make sure it's not cracked. Also check the housing where the impeller goes to make sure there are no calcium deposits.

Check the feed hose for any obstructions as well.

Also check that the magnet is still connected to the shaft, the magnet should not slip on the shaft. I had a problem where the magnet became disconnected from the shaft hub. HTH
