MJMODS. Quick question on design..

Hey guys, I'll start off by saying if this is the wrong place to add this, mods feel free to move me where I should be.

Ok, got my mod kit in and went through the instructions. It is nearly 100% complete and looks great. One issue I see, and I am guessing here....

The rod that the two red/black endcaps fit on seems to be just a tad bit shorter than it is supposed to be. If my thinking is correctly in that the endcap should fit snuggly into the centering cap hole to hold this end cap piece in place and allow the shaft to spin only. I can allows shave down a bit on the shroud but was wondering if anyone else had this issue.

are you using the carbon fiber rod or the metal one? i messed up my carbon fiber rod and cut it to short and didnt have enough left over to make it work. SO i used the metal one. I cut a piece of airline tubing and dropped it in the MJ hole. just enough to raise it so the rod would fit snug in my new shroud. hope that explains it. I know thats now how they wanted it to work but mine has been working fine for a month now.

I used the carbon fiber piece cut to spec. What I was referring to was the metal rod in which in end caps fit on.
