The Montgomery Club is putting on their 2nd annual Frag Swap on April 25th, Saturday. That would be a great and inexepensive way to start if you can wait on frags for a month!

That sounds like a great idea. Thats about how long it shoudl take me to get the rock and water in and have it ready for when i come back with some.

How do you transport from motogomery to mobile in the car for 3 hours?

we had our last frag swap in oct 08 and we are moving it to april from now on. we had a guy come from mobile and what he did was bring one of those large styrofoam coolers. if you see a frag you like, then pay for it, you can ask the person selling the frags to hold them for you until you leave. bag them up, put them in your cooler. that's what he did, except for he actually spent the night on sat. i never heard how his corals made it, but people ship corals all the time overnight so three hours should be easy. just make sure you bring the cooler like he did, it really keeps them organized plus it holds the bags up in place.

we will be posting soon on more info on the swap. Right now, it's April 25th, Saturday at the Drury Inn on the Eastern Blvd right beside Sams Wholesale.
