I'm strongly considering buying an MP60 and MP40 for my 300g tank (3/4" thick glass) as I shut down and seal up the closed loop circuit I've used thus far.
The tank was made as a peninsula, but I'm using it against a wall since it's the only place I could put it.

The return line comes in back right corner and pushes water leftward along the back wall. I plan to do two or three islands of rock centered in the tank.
Where should I put these pumps, and are they the right pumps for the job?
It's on odd setup.... I know.
Maybe an MP40 on the back wall far left facing forward to help water "turn the corner"? And an MP60 on the right side wall near the front (just below the hole you see now that will have a plugged bulkhead) which can "anti-sync" the flow?
I don't know.... I just know I need a gyre, but I don't know how to make one in this tank. Help...
