The pics are not too clear.However,that is from what I see the vent ,of the fish,in it's proper location.

It is the vent. But almost seems like nodules. One on each side. Wasn't sure if it could be part of mating ritual or an infection. I'll try to get a better pic but he loves to swim

I am not sure,from that photo either...It is hard to get a MI to stop long enough to pose for a photo.The entire vent looks a bit swollen,however,I don't know if it is cause for alarm.How long have you had it? Is it the only MI in your aquarium?Is it eating well? IMO leave it,unless it appears worse,and/or, your MI is appearing stressed,give it a little more observation.

It's been like that for almost a week. I have 2 MI's and they eats like pigs. They eat anything I put in the tank as well as my blasto's
