Mogul Base Socket Or Double Ended?

I have double-ended bulbs in my Giesemann pendant. They are very bright and long-lasting, but they are very difficult to remove. Here are the results of my first attempt:

Did you know that the socket should have spings all you need to do is push in the bulb on one side and pull out very easy.:D :D

Not the Giesemann pendant. The DE bulbs are extremely snugly held in the sockets. The best way to remove the bulb is to make two "slings" of twill tape and very gently but firmly pull both ends upwards. The two ends must come out of the sockets at the same time.

Wow I'd like to meet the person who thought of that

I think it must be someone with stock in replacement bulb suppliers.

The Giesemann pendant is a very high quality ( and expensive) fixture, and I like it a lot, except when I have to change a bulb.
