Mollies

So I'm thinking a more 1:1 ratio would be better and you wouldn't have such an issue. Is there a way to easily identify male/female? LOL

My LFS has been doing it for a long time, I actually just went in and bought a dozen of them, and 4 of them already had hugely fat bellies, which is usually a dead giveaway... but males are usually more slender/long looking, and the fin near their butt looks more phallic, whereas females have more of a fan-shape to them. (I'm stating from memory, I could be wrong)

The nutritional value of fish is determined by what they eat, not by the water they swim in. Marine algaeโ€™s are high in nutritional value just as the mollies would be. These mollies as a source of live gut cavity bacteria would be a boost to fish immune system. It would be difficult to find a better food for a predator.

How have you guys been acclimating? I've heard just throwing them in is the best way, but wasn't sure

I just temp acclimated them by floating them for 15 minutes. I expected a 50% loss... None of them died from shock. (The anemone and trigger on the other hand, were quite the popular choice of death.)
