Sorry to hear Dave. 2 months ago i lost my longnose hawkfish. he had been with me pretty much since i got in the hobby 3 yrs ago. A definate bummer

I've never seen a harlequin tusk last longer than a month or two ... that is out of about a dozen that I've had the pleasure to observe. They usually die within the first 2 weeks.

I've had this fish for over 3 years... she has always been healthy and eats like a pig - I even had her eating flake food. I fear I somehow caused her demise when I introduced all the L.R. and fish into her tank last week when I broke down my 125. Up until then she had a 110 FOWLR all to herself. All the other fish seem fine including a Blue Regal Surgeonfish which is usually the first to show any signs of distress.
I dug the Tuskfish a shallow grave in the yard complete with a little cross-tombstone made of two sticks and some zipties.
May she rest in peace.

No goldfish (or any other FW animails). She loved krill and mysis as a treat, but she mostly got (3) dif. flake foods I would rotate and also those little popcorn shrimps from the seafood dept. @ Safeway...

I feel your Pain!!!
I just had another plague in my fish only systems and lost all of my fish but my TITAN trigger.

I think I will stick with what is easy, SPS.
