A bucket with a Maxi at the office to accomodate the UPS deliveries was just not sexy enough, so I got a 4.4.

Well, that didn't last long-I got the Nano bug.

So, it all started with a Finnex M22 Rounded Glass Edge Tank:

A little visit to Rod's, a few accesories, some time, and:

And the back - plumbing!

Lights: Coralife Aqualight Advanced, 150W MH, 20K light bulb to start
Plumbing:

* Closed Loop, 3 bulkheads, driven by a SCWD (yeah, yeah - upgrade intended on the SCWD soon to a less failure prone mod
* 3/4" plumbing all around with the exception of the intake and return on the pump
* 3/4" Locline with flared outputs
* Mag 7 Pump, controlled by valve
* Ball Valve on intake
* Home Depot 60W Agrigro light, clip on
* Coralife Digital Temp, at least till controller gets in
* Stealth 50W heater
* Stock Skimmer (planned for Remora)
* Azoo cooling fans, dual (should have gotten the quad, maybe)

What do y'all think?

Looks nice ........very elaborate work....all those pumps and lights watch your temps.

It may go inside of a datacenter - still debating. Cool temps in there! That's why 2 iceprobes weren't installed...but they may tomorrow. :)

The temps may still be an issue, but hat was the main reason the mag was installed externally.

Lloyd, Is that mag 7 running full throttle in the "test run" picture?
Or is it not a mag 7?

That's awesome but are you sure you want to put a computer in a datacenter? I don't even allow beverages in my datacenter.

It is a Mag 7 running full tilt...

Methinks that the SCWD has too much back pressure for good measure, needs some drilling out. Perhaps when I pick another one up from Hurley to modify at will, we can sort that out...

reason i asked is the link you put up is for :

20g M-Tank by Finnex USA
Contemporary design bow front acrylic tank (made in the U.S.A)
Fan cooled power compact aluminum fixture with separate controls
Built-in wet/dry filter with ceramic bio-ring media
Unique rain tray filtration design cools water temperature by increasing air contact
High efficiency Venturi driven protein skimmer with power head

I didnt see the glass version anywhere on the site..

lol that has got to be the most complex nano i have ever seen... hats of to you 2..

heheh, and if you know what type of a "simple guy" I am , that would explain the """ And Rod said he wasnt partial..." title :)

glbtrottr, If thats all the flow that the mag7 is able to get through the squid, I agree with the wise guy that posted the oceans motions link.
