Montastrea placement

Hi there,

Rec'd a montastrea and the first day it had extention, but none since. It is low in the tank, very low flow. Is this not the best placement?

Also, it had a small spot with algae growing on it. I sucked some of the algae off- should I be concerned? We're talking a square millimeter, not a huge spot.

Bought from Reefhotspot.com. It is superbly colored! Bright red and green. I really hope I figure it out.

Sorry, no experiance with that one! Hope all ends up well with it.

medium light, not too bad of a sting, similar to a favia, or gonastrea. flo shouldnt be much of an issue as long as its not in front of a power head with a concentrated nozzle, just watch that patch for algae, keep your nutrients down and should heal up fine.
