Monterey Bay Aquarium videos

Thought I'd post a couple of short videos I took when we were at the Monterey Bay aquarium last month. They were just taken with my digital camera, so they aren't incredible quality, but cool nonetheless.

First is the Great White Shark. The exhibit is very dark, so it is hard to photograph or film the sharks, but you can clearly make out the Great White. If you ever get a chance, you have to see this shark in person, it is quite impressive.

These two are of Jellyfish.

Tim,

really nice. The GWS is awesome

JF1 is not available.

Thanks. JF1 should be fine, maybe it was busy.

Nice! That makes me want to get my jelly tanks going. The sea nettles in the first video are what I plan on putting in one of my cylinder tanks. First I'll do the moons in one and then the sea nettles in the other.

The pics of the white shark don't do it any justice untill you see it swim in a video like that! Nothing quite like it.

Tim, those were simply awesome! While the shark makes the heart pump just a tiny bit faster and brings that jaws tune to mind, those fasinating jellys are just too dreamy. We just returned from the honeymoon and one of the stops was there also and we have some of the same pics. I got some killer hickys from the stingrays for stealing a kiss for 7 years of good luck and a turbo ride on a wonderful dolphin. When we get them all togather and ready we'll post them too.

OETA will have a show about the behind the scenes at the Monterey Bay Aquarium Sunday the 15th at 7pm. Here's a link describing what the show is about. I haven't seen it before and It's pretty new. It looks like they have the white shark included in it.

Here's a link showing OTEA's programing schedule. It might be good for someone to record it and have it included in the video library for the club.
