Monti Cap growth?

Hi all, I received this Monti around a week ago with some other frags and was wondering if these white areas are signs of growth or decay. All of my other corals are doing well, however this is my first and so far only sps. Calcium is 450 ppm alk is 11 dkh, all other levels are in good order. Also it is not going to be staying next to that ZOA, temp home. Also I guess I should mention that it is in a 55 gal with 324w of t5ho about half way up the tank right now.

Also just to clarify, the rock it is on is one of two that have some algae growth on them and the stuff on the glass is coralline which most of you probably recognize, my point is that my phosphates are not high at all.

Looks like growth as it's On the outside edges, and on a part that appears to not be the original frag (it's bigger). Problems usually start in the middle or bottom, unless it's rtn, and then it everywhere fast.

Quite a few SPS grow with a white edge or tip when growth is fairly rapid.

So the Monti looks fine. Now those 3 tall curly things to it's right, that's another story.

Those are actually hitch hiker yellow palys ( I think.) Started with two and have three now.
