monti eating nudis

what to do ,i keep an eye on my tank every day and found them today so thay work quick they have my greenish tan and purple cap eaten but just a little peice of it so i,m looking for any answers so that i can get on top of it and kill them before they kill my montis , to much time and hard work gos into my tank to lose it all to a pest

Sorry to hear that... I had the Zoo eating ones in my tank and like to never got rid of them.. After getting a Yellow Corris wrasse I have not seen one since.. Not sure if that will help with those type or not..

I have since learned I don't care where the coral comes from it will be dipped before entering the tank.. and that is not 100% save.

camel shrimp in a seperate tank (but left in too long will eat the montis)

ya nothing is 100% but there is gottabe something i can do , i don,t know, i guess i will start taking all my montis out and start over

That's a freaking shame.

Bring them over to my tank. I think I have it fixed now. Additional lighing is being worked on...

no i want to get rid of them first i,t gonna drive me crazy in the mean time so i got a fight on my hands thanks fellow reefers what kind of wrasse do i need to get

i would recomend a african radiant wrasse, they will eat them. thanks fish

The ones I have seen people say the most are

Yellow Corris Wrasse
Leopard Wrasse
Radiant Wrasse

the nudis hide during the day time and come out at night most of the time luck under the coral with the lights on
