Monti issue

Ok, I'm having an issue with a couple of monti's in my nano. A rainbow and sunset.

As you can see they are not doing to well. The rainbow is 13" below the lights and the sunset is 11". The lights are 4x24" T5. The sunset looked good for the first couple of weeks or so. Encrusted nicely then started to go downhill. The rainbow never looked good from the get-go. After a week or so I split the piece and placed one in the other tank and it took off(pic) below.
My param's
PH- 8
KH-8
Phosphate-.04 (hanna)(no nusiance algae)
Mag-1440
Calcium-440
Ammonia-0
N02-0
NO3-0

Here's the same corals in my other tank 7" under T5's

The rainbow is actually a frag split from the one in the nano. The sunset is from a different reefer.

All SPS looks better in my 44g vs the nano. The nano is the "cleaner" tank. Is it possible that it is too clean. I'm kind of at a loss here. I solve one problem and another creeps up in the nano. This tank is far and away more disappointing then the 44 which I literally just threw together. I really can't wait to get rid of it, and get the 90 in place. Anyway if anyone has suggestion let me know. Thanks in advance for the help.

Hi, I have a mostly monti tank. so let start with the basic. How old is the new tank? Water Temps, what size is the nano. how about salinity? flow? was the frag from your tank in the nano first or was the other reefers frag 1st, Maybe monti nudi bugs? do you dip.

Well the tank is about just shy of 7 months old. 20gal high with a temp of 78-80. Flow is a MP-10 on reef crest and salinity is at 1.025. The sunset was from another reefer. The rainbow is from a store. When I got the rainbow I split the large frag and placed half in the slightly older 44gal. Both were dipped in coral Rx. A few months ago I did have Nudi's, that was well before these pieces and after I removed and dipped monti's a few times I have not seen since. The sunset looked really good when I got it, but in the last month or so has gone downhill. The rainbow in the nano has never looked good. As you can see in the pics clearly there is something off.

Hi, how old are your bulbs? Maybe to much light or to little. how is the rest of the nano doing? could they be getting to much constant flow. I run 40's on my tank and none of my monti's like direct flow all of the time. What program are you running? An are you sure about all the levels in your tank. Test kits all up to date, and what are you using to measure your salinity? also as you know just because you don't see the nudie's dosen't mean they are not there. And yes your tank could be to clean, but that hardly ever happens.
How often are you doing water changes? and do you use the same makeup water for both tanks.
