Monti lighting?

I have a large piece of monti cap that was given to me. It had completely browned out when it was given to me but it has since developed a vibrant, almost eye searing purple rim. However, I can't get the rest of it to color up.

I'm also trying to figure out where to place a superman monti. It has great, bright red polyps but the body is basically white.

Too much light? Too little?

If its white my guess would be too much light. Try moving it to a shaded area or lower light area like the sandbed and off to the side of your lights (if its MH) and slowly move it over then up. Or do the screen light acclimation trick.
