So I started having monti eating nudis in some frags. I removed them easily and the eggs with a toothbrush. A month passed by and a huge spongodes monti started to bleach, I thought it was STN so I let it "heal by itself", only to realize it was overun with MAN.

It was almost all dead so I threw it out with all and many MAN and their eggs. On the weeks to follow. Many frags and colonies started to get affected. Most of them are removable, so I just take them out daily and scrap the nudis.

I have removed many adults but I´m not seeing eggs anymore.

I figure now that as long as theres montis in my tank, there will be MAN unless I supervise every single monti daily and scrap off everything I see.

For how long will I have to do this?

Like I mentioned in your other post, at least 6 months monti free, 9 would be better. If you don't wait that long, you'll be right back where you are now.

Less than that, depending on how vigilant you are.

The second time I got them, I removed every cap from teh rock work, scrubbed and dipped (in tropic marin pro coral cure), and then inspected them every day after lights out, and removed any and all adults and eggs and dipped again if any new nudis were found.

Did this every night for a week, then every other night for a week, then every third night for the next week, and then once a week for the next 3 - after that I never saw them again.

Thanks, that's what I'm doing right now. The only problem that I'm having is that some montis have a weird encrusting form that allows gaps and holes underneath and those are the hardest to clean. I somehow guess that sooner or later they will have to start hanging out on the visible part of the monti, exposing themselves to easier removal?

I am monti free for 9 months now, all it takes is removing all the montis and waiting, I could not kill them with dips...
