monti question

ok I heard there is a supposedly new sweet looking digitata that has cool coloration something like a uf of uv or whatever....
what is it and what does it look like?

I dunno either but I believe its a digitata with gator colors can u imagine LOL.

UF monti- I believe Reefwreak carries it in his frag pack.
i think I have a piece that Eric was kind enuff to trade.

Hey yea it is the UF Montiopora Digitata. It has bright blue polyps in high flow and an orange base. The coloration really comes out under actinics (just like any coral), but you can definitely see the color under regular light.

Oh yea it's UF because it's the color of the 2007 College basketball and football champion University of Florida.

There are a few people (mostly people in the club) who have frags of it but I've never seen it elsewhere.

Under 10k XM 2x250w. More blue comes out with more flow and/or more actinic.

andy, i mounted the frags and put them in the show tank, i think im gonna leave them there for a few days till they really attach to the new mounts, ill see if i can frag a piece off of it for you.

well i bought it from a fella next to the pizza at the swap,
the polyps opened up minutes after i started floating the bag but it was a lil mad after i epoxy'd it to a mount

Lol yea, I never had an ID on it, so it was the UF. Now it's the ORA German Blue Monti/ UF monti
