Hello, I have a 8 gallon nano and I just got a red/brown monti frag. I placed it approx. 20 inches from my led lighting that consists of 3 9W bulbs. It is placed 9 inches from the top of the water. Is this too close or too far? The polyps aren't extending yet and it has been 2 days. I have a crocea clam on the sand bed since 6 minth with no problem and I have GSP thriving on the bottom. I have a couple of zoas and a gorgonian to. I have had a sps in the past but after growing supergood for 2 weeks it got RTN... I want to know if it's normal I'm not getting any polyp extension and if it's getting too much or too little light. Also I feed my tank with phytoplankton and zooplanktons every 3rd day and I have no cyano, no diatoms, no hair algae.
