Montipora samarensis receding

My monti samarensis frag fell into a Euphyllia garden(hammers and frogspawn) and I didn't realized it for a day. When I found out it still looked fine and ofcourse I relocated it. But a day after that it started to recede from the top. I cut off the dead parts, dip it in coral Rx and superglue which ever part I can't cut off. But it's still receding!

I'm sure my water params are fine, my other M. Samarensis frag is growing right next to it.

sounds like you've done everything right, i would add remove from direct light and where it gets lots of flow for a week or so. good luck!
