Not sure what is going on with my purple montipora nodosa. Two days ago I accidentally dropped my glass magnet scrapper on my derasa clam which caused it to start spawning. Since then my montipora has retracted all of its polyps and they have not returned. Do sps corals tend to stop expanding after being fed a large meal? I am assuming the clam spawning probably dumped a large amount of food into my tank. I checked for nudibranches or any other predators an could not find any. All of my other sps corals are okay. I did a 10% water change yesterday and still no change.
