moon light led

I have the Kessil ap700 that has a moon light programmed in. Never had good luck with consistency of add ons. But yo have to factor my laziness.

I have the overpriced Neptune lights and the LSM. I like those but, if it wasn't a gift I wouldn't have paid that much for them.

I have looked at them. APEX makes solid products so I would trust they work. I'm interested in these for my lps lower in my tank. Watch the video at the link I posted. They show them towards the end. Plus there is a really good YouTube review showing some lobo's 27 inches below the smaller light. I'm ordering one from PA and will post my review :)
I like gadgets and gizmos.

Cheers
Tom

How do you like the ap700? I ran 350w's and 150w's on a frag tank. The crisp blue is great, ecotech lights can't come close to kessil in that department.

Mixed emotions. I wish the spread was better. But with my aquascaoe it works.
The program it ok, but I wish it ran on APEX.

I'm thinking about getting some of the RGB strips from amazon and mounting them on my light fixture for moonlights.

Those do look interesting, I like the how flexible they look to be. I wonder how deep they will penetrate. They do look promising though.

I like the R2 Extreme LED Aquarium Moonlight. I've ran the the dual on 5 and 6 foot long tanks and they were pretty bright for a moon light. I'll be adding the duals on my 280. You might be able to get away with the single for a 4 foot tank and I say that because on a 5 foot tank 28 inchs tall they were almost to bright.

WOW my bad I just seen they are saying ships in 1 to 2 months on Amazon :debi:

I have had them and the only thing I don't like is the with the technology today you can not control the brightness like I am able to know.

So no dimmer. I didn't know that. Thanks that is a real weak selling point for current LEDs. Even the cheaper off brands dim now.
