This is the best I could come up with on the last lunar eclipse with my 28-70 f2.8:

I just picked up the 105mm f2.8 macro which would have been muuuuch better.

Fantastic photo. I've been itching to try my hand at a moon shot, but haven't yet. That's definitely a shot to aspire to. Thanks for sharing it.

Yeah awesome. If only I had 700mm laying around.... actually, I wonder if comparable shots can be made without such a long lens.
