Moonlight cable removeable?

I have a 7095 controller and I'm not using the attached moonlight/photocell. Does that wire unplug, or is it permanently attached? I have too many wires already, and would like to remove the moonlight and store it away for now.

It depends. For about the last 6 months of production the photocell has had a plug inside the controller, however removing it is not a viable option as you have to remove the bottom plate of the controller in the process, leaving the board inside exposed. Prior to that the photocell was soldered and in this case you could unsolder the four wires and due to the lack of a pig tail you could pull the cable through the hole in the bottom plate.

Thanks for the help. I have too many other DIY jobs to do before I'll can get around to this, so I'll likely just keep the cable wadded up.
