I made some moonlights, perhaps they are a touch bright. honestly Ive never seen moonlights before so I dont know the proper brightness. anyway, so their about 120-150lumens of light, blue light, 420nm I think it is, standard LED blue.
I had them off for the longest time and my GSP were doing awesome, turned them on for a week and they started to only come out at night... they were just the purple stuff during the day.
well onward I turned the moonlight off last night and poof their back out today(though a bit timidly).
now most corals that I have arent real obvious about day and night to me(ok... I only have 3 corals and the other 2 are SPS, which always look the same)
anyway, could the moonlights be bad for the corals? not giving them a "night and day"?
